Kamakshi Basandani: The Multi-Talented Girl

Children are unique and enlightened these days right from an early age. The proper channelization of their capabilities is very much needed for them to accomplish good things in their life. Today we will be talking about Kamakshi Basandani who is an artist, a world record holder, and much more. She studies at Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidhyalaya in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

She is a humble person and loves learning new things. She started getting fame at the age of 5 but she always stayed grounded. She is a great artist. She had showcased her Mandala artwork in an exhibition at the age of 5. She has got her name registered in India’s Book of Records. Her parents Mr. Sudhanshu Basandani and Mrs. Mukta Basandani discovered her talent when she was only 2 years old.

She is an enthusiastic and avid reader and loves reading encyclopedias’ and books of different genres. She is currently preparing for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. She designs T-shirts for a clothing brand, The Talking Canvas. She has also worked for Red Fm Radio Channel. She is the brand ambassador of sustainable brand Seed Rakhi and has won the ‘Tamanna Udaan Ki’ Award. The award-winning author Debashish Sengupta has written a chapter about her in his book ‘The Life of Z’. She has also won Art Around Logo Competition held by Citroen Cars before its launch in India. She has conducted various workshops nationally as well as internationally. She has been covered in Power Kids Edition to inspire kids. She has won many awards in storytelling and poem recitation competitions. She is taking workshops under Shiamak Davar’s Institute and has also been invited to various institutes to conduct workshops. She has been interviewed by many Radio Channels. She is a keen learner and deeply interested in learning guitar, piano, dance, and reading books.

 After 10 years, her parents wish to her name and achievements in the Forbes Magazine.

The most memorable moment that left her parents filled with happiness was when she had exhibited her artwork at the age of 5 and the people were amazed to look at the work that she had done at a very tender age.

Her parents also added that the child prodigies are curious and keen learners and they grab the opportunities and learn something new out of them. opinion they are a keen learner. They don’t isolate themselves from their peer mates rather they learn from them the cooperation among the team and building self-confidence.

1. Support your child and let them enjoy the thing they love doing the most.

2. Let your child explore and learn new things.

She is very helpful to everyone around her. She helps her mother with household chores and helps her family in babysitting her cousins.
