In today’s time, every kid is doing something great in their little age and today we are going to talk about our one of the top 100 child prodigies, Amaya Singh who is just 4 years old. Amaya is from Hyderabad, Telangana. She did that act at a young age, which is not possible even for many older people. This girl memorized the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa at an early age and earned the title of the youngest girl reciting Hanuman Chalisa and set a world record in India Book of Records. The girl recited the entire Hanuman Chalisa in 2 minutes and 18 seconds at the tender age of 3 years, 10 months and 1 day, as confirmed on January 22, 2021.
Apart from memorizing the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Amaya Singh’ has earned another record. This girl has been awarded the title of GrandMaster at a young age by the Asia Book of Records for reading and reciting the names of all Indian states and union territories in a short period (29 seconds). She earned this title at the age of 3 years 4 months and 29 days, as confirmed on August 25, 2020. These records represent that the Amaya has a sharp memory. In this journey of Amaya, her mother has played an important role.
In an interview, Amaya’s mother said that, “After the birth of Amaya, I quit my job and gave 24 by 7 attention to Amaya and we always tried to give more information to Amaya so she can easily learn and understand the things. At the age of 1.5 years, Amaya started to repeat the lines which we use daily to talk and then we understood that she is a fast learner. From that day, we started telling her more and more things and we felt that she has a good memory. Amaya’s mother also said that it is not necessary that the child be taught at any one time. I always try to teach Amaya something new and productive. Whether I am cooking or doing any other work, I keep teaching Amaya something new.”
Her father added that, “I give all the credit to her mother for amaya’s skills but i always encourage them to do and learn new things. I am the richest person because I have a daughter like Amaya and she inspires me everyday that I have to do much more for her.”
Amaya Singh is appreciated for recalling the days of the week, months of the year, five senses, English alphabet, vowels and consonants, counting (1-100), backward counting (30-1), Gayatri mantra, planets, Indian pledge, National Anthem, seven vegetables, national symbols, for writing counting (1-100), English alphabet; for reciting various rhymes at the young age of 3 years and 3 months, as confirmed on June 23, 2020. In all these fields, this girl has proved her talent and made a mark in every field. She can sing songs which are not easy to sing for older people.
