Here we are talking about Sanjay V from Tiruppur, Tamilnadu who can produce meaningful output in cubing to the level of an expert without any special training. At the tender age of 10 years, he showed amazing skills that made his parents discover his potential. He learned to solve the Rubik’s cube from youtube during the lockdown. His dedication and passion for learning made him achieve many state and national level recognition in competitions. He holds the record for solving the 3×3 Rubik’s cube with one hand, faster than anyone. His record of solving the 3×3 Rubik’s cube with his left hand in 21 seconds and 62 milliseconds is also confirmed by the India Book of Records.
He is very intelligent and kind. He has been inspired by international cubers like Feliks zemdegs, Max park, Aaryan Chabbra, and Leo Borromeo. He has the ambition to become an IAS officer. Our team asked his parents R Vinod Kumar and K R Sharmila about their dreams, and where do they wish to see Sanjay 10 years from now to which they said they wish to see him as one of the best cubers and mentor at the international level.
He is an ambivert i.e. a person who knows the balance between being an extrovert and an introvert as well. We asked his parents for their opinion on the notion that child prodigies isolate themselves from their peer mates since they have higher IQ and are busy discovering things in their zone, they believe it to be correct to an extent but not all of the time.
Further, we explained to them the features their child will get through this platform and people will start recognizing him, the fame that follows is something beyond imagination so ensuring a normal childhood for him is very important. They feel that popularity gives confidence and recognition, it does not have any negative effects on his normal childhood.
Sharing some memorable moments they had with Sanjay, his parents tell that they can never forget the moment he won a national championship and achieved a record in the India Book of Records. All the glories he has achieved are not by luck, they are the result of his restless hard work and dedication. He has a powerful and confident bent of mind. He is very keen to learn new things from everywhere. He respects others and is grounded on the Earth.
Later, we asked them if they sometimes feel the pressure of the expectations that society may hold from their child and how they handle it. They believe that it is a pleasure to have a child with such extraordinary skills. There is no pressure at all. When raising a child prodigy they advise other parents to never compare a child with others as every child is unique and talented in their ways. Parents need to be encouraging, supportive, guiding, and motivating to their children.
We are sure by now you will be amazed by his skills. This is all about Sanjay V, our team The Child Prodigy wishes him good luck in all his future endeavors.
