Vidushi Saxena: Our Little Dancer

Dance is not only a skill but is also associated with many health benefits. It increases stamina, helps in relieving stress, and fills you with immense joy. It is considered to be one of the best exercises for mental as well as emotional health. Today we will be talking about Vidushi Saxena, who dances quite gracefully. She studies at St. Xavier’s School in Sector 81, Gurugram, Haryana. She is the daughter of Mr. Sachin Saxena and Mrs. Rolly Sinha.

Vidushi started her dance journey when she was only 2 years old. Later on, she started to draw at the age of 3 with fine details. By that time people also started recognizing her talent. Her parents started noticing that she dances quite gracefully at the age of 2 years, that was the time when they realized that she is very talented.

Dance makes her feel happy, excited, and relaxed. She starts tapping her feet as soon as she listens to some music. She can coordinate her dance steps with the beats of the music. The most memorable moment for Vidushi’s parents was when she won the first prize in a dance competition at the very tender age of 3 years. She loves drawing, dancing, skating, and reading books.

She has won many prizes in drawing competitions. She has also won a Maths Olympiad. Not only dance and draw, but she is also good at her academics. She never compromises with her studies and follows her passion as well. She manages her time so well and prioritizes her work. After 10 years, her parents wish to see her doing Kathak shows in various countries and organizing her art exhibitions.

When did our team ask her parents do they think the notion is correct that child Prodigies isolate themselves from their peer mates since they have higher IQ and are busy discovering things in their zone?

To this, her parents replied that they don’t think this notion is true, in fact, besides discovering their talent they also help their friends and learn from them.

Her parents also told us that they have sometimes come across the pressure of expectations that society behold with Vidushi but they ignore it and don’t let it bother her daughter. They said that they teach her the importance of being humble and grounded. They have inculcated basic moral values in her so that she grows out to be a good human being.

Vidushi’s parents also shared a few parenting tips that let your child explore his/her talent, guide them, help them taking the right decisions, and show them the right direction.

She is a very considerate child that once in her neighborhood she took care of an elderly couple as they didn’t have anyone to take care of them. She even helps her mother with household activities.

This was all about Vidushi Saxena. The entire team of The Child Prodigy wishes her all the best in her future endeavors.
